Every strong brand has a beginning and ours started with a clear sense of purpose.
Gado Agency Limited was first registered on September 4, 2001. At the time, it operated as a Public Relations and general services enterprise. But even then, the real passion was already clear media. The turning point came early.
Our first major project was a public awareness campaign for NAFDAC on the dangers of fake drugs. It produced a radio jingle many still remember:
“Jonny, na you dey sell fake drug—I will report you to NAFDAC.”
It struck a chord immediately. So much so that the then Director-General of NAFDAC, Professor Dora Akunyili, approved it for immediate broadcast on the Radio Nigeria network the very same day it was presented. That moment changed everything.
At the time, we didn’t even have our own studio. We relied on partnerships, worked with what we had, and pushed forward with determination. One of such collaborations led to another notable production— “Nigeria People, Shine Your Eyes.”
As the work grew, so did the vision.
In 2005, the company was restructured into a limited liability company—marking a new phase of growth, structure, and bigger opportunities.
Today, Gado Agency Limited stands as a product of resilience, creativity, and consistency still driven by the same passion to create content that informs, educates, and inspires.
